What is a frame shop?
Years ago the term "frame shop" was very well known. If the frame
on your vehicle was bent, you went to a "frame shop" to have it
straightened. Harold’s Frame Shop was started in 1949 by my dad
(Harold). When customers had the frame straightened and wheel
alignment done, it was done right. Their vehicles handled good as
new or better. If customers had problems with their vehicle, we
were their last hope to get troublesome problems fixed. This had
customers bringing their vehicles back to us, and telling others
"TAKE IT TO HAROLD’S". Because more people
need wheel alignments in comparison to frame straightening, the
alignment part of the business grew at a faster rate. What is so
amazing, is that this business grew only from "word of mouth"
advertising. So to this day, if a vehicle was unable to be aligned
because of frame problems, you'll still hear "TAKE IT TO
HAROLD’S".
